Ms. Alina Yoon has been in the banking industry for more than 25 years and has wide exposure in areas of Credit and Trade Finance. Her last position was as Head of Credit and Trade Finance at Knowledge and Learning Centre of a well-known local institution. In addition to Credit and Trade Finance coverage, she is also internally certified by the bank as a professional certified trainer in Selling Skills for the bank’s sales and marketing executives.

During her 13 years of designing, developing and delivering training programs for the bank, Alina has vast hands-on experience in imparting learning and knowledge to practicing bankers from junior to senior levels and at various training workshops for their overseas branches in Vietnam, Cambodia and Sri Lanka.

An Associate member of AICB (Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers) with a Master of Science in Banking, she also holds the Certified Credit Professional (CCP) – Business, CCP – Islamic (Business), Certified Documentary Credit Specialist (CDCS) and Certified AML/CFT & Regulatory Compliance Officer qualifications.

Over the last 12 years, she has been delivering in-house programs, specialising in technical skills for competency-based exams such as Professional Credit Certifications (PCC) , credit-related soft skills (Code of Ethics, Corporate Governance) and trade finance-related structuring programs to employees of various financial institutions and SMEs entities
